This idea came about because I love Kaloe fics and wanted to try one out. Different spin in later chapters (or at least a spin I haven't read just yet). But I had to write this. It kept taking over my mind and I just wanted to explore the angsty possibilities. It's written like missing scenes, kind of, trying to keep with the show while giving it subtext. Hard to explain, but I hope you like.

This fic started off a series and kind of became its own AU, which I'm hapy to tool around in rather than just accept Smallville's way of telling the story.

As a little preview, Bekahcff made a lovely video, like the preview of this fic if it were a movie. I remain very grateful to her for that. She really captures the story and manipulates Smallville footage beautifully.
